Robert Verkerk PhD is an internationally acclaimed scientist with 30 years experience in the field of sustainability, specifically as it relates to lifestyle, food production and healthcare. He has a Doctorate and Masters degree from Imperial College London, where he also worked for 7 years as a postdoctoral research fellow. In 2002, he founded the Alliance for Natural Health (ANH), an independent, not-for-profit campaign, that now has an international remit with regional offices in both the UK and USA. The campaign works to protect and promote natural health worldwide, using the tools of ‘good science’ and ‘good law’.  In particular, ANH-Intl works cooperatively with the leading edge of the natural products industry, and its beneficiaries, to help positively shape regulatory and scientific frameworks appropriate to the re-emergence of natural health as a dominant and sustainable approach to healthcare.
