2011 - Testosterone & PDE5 Inhibitors in the Aging Male
It’s a common concept that normal physiological male aging includes an impairment in body function, with decreased muscle strength, increased fat mass, loss of hair, decreased energy and sexual function. Androgen, namely testosterone deficiency might play a pivotal role in the aforementioned symptoms and signs, and it can be corrected with replacement therapy. PDE-5 inhibitors, when needed, may improve erectile function and they can be used together with testosterone in order to allow a satisfactory sexual life for aging males.
